Learn more about Yoga Therapy and me
What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is effective in osteo-articular disorders, in certain diseases, and in psycho-emotional pathologies. Whether you have chronic pain & fatigue, asthma, cardiovascular disease, insomnia, cancer during or after treatment, multiple sclerosis, low back pain or sciatica, or PTSD, depression, anxiety states (…), the purpose of this practice is to support you during treatment in order to improve the quality of life, to become an actor within your own healing and to break the deadlock.
Yoga uses a set of postures, different breathing techniques, concentration & visualization exercises to bring you to a state of physical and emotional serenity and well-being.
The practices are designed and adapted to the specific needs of each person in order to soothe the condition, strengthen internal resources, and increase physical, mental and emotional resilience.
Yoga therapy does not replace medical treatment but acts in complementarity with it.

My journey
I was diagnosed as a child with infantile rheumatism feeling pain first in my knees, then as an adult in all my joints. Also, anxious and stressed by nature, the period of university studies in Paris greatly accentuated this level of tension. A few years into my banking career I reached a climax in terms of illbeing and pain.
In 2006, despite all my prejudices towards yoga, I tried it. After the first class, I was soaked, felt wrung out and profoundly relaxed. The sensation of well-being was instantaneous and the journey within began. Having practiced many different sports all my life, none of them came even near to what yoga had to offer in terms of effort and ease. I could not understand why and how the feeling after a practice could be so different and so intense than anything I had experience before. It became addictive.
I started participating in numerous yoga and meditation courses, workshops, retreats and trainings. Fascinated and intrigued by the physical and psychological benefits felt after each practice, I deepened my knowledge after specializing in Therapeutic Yoga at the Institute of Yoga Therapy led by Dr. Lionel Coudron. His scientific approach led me to understand why and how yoga acts on the body. Ever since, the rheumatic pain has disappeared.
In 2016, after a traumatic pregnancy, a very premature birth of my son and disturbing circumstances, yoga once again helped me face the vagaries of life. It is because I had been practicing for ten years prior to this experience that allowed me to face the horrors of what had happened. Regular practice cultivates awareness, consciousness and resilience. And the latter is an anchor when life throughs obstacles at you. When you don't have it, it is hard to face difficulties, and you drift.
I practice vinyasa, kundalini and therapeutic yoga.
I teach vinyasa and therapeutic yoga.

“I’ve been practicing with Dalia for almost 3 years regularly now. Every class fulfills me with the same pleasure! Dalia is a compassionate teacher who takes care of her students and adapts her classes according to their current needs. Her knowledge of anatomy, her personalized advice, her gentleness, and energy make each class a special moment of self-return, well-being and relaxation. I also recommend participating in her workshops, which cover very interesting topics. These are opportunities to practice more in-depth postures, breathing exercises and meditations on a regular basis. The retreats are also not to be missed: uplifting mood, great hospitality in beautiful places and magnificent yoga practices are waiting for you! » Pauline,
